GETTING BETTER AS AN AFFILIATE MARKETER

Hi guys, welcome to our first post of the year 2019! We’re sorry for the hiatus but we’re back with some interesting tips on how to better yourself and earn some more commission as an affiliate marketer.

  1. You should look after & take care of your customers

In reality, the customers you sign up are your customers too! You are getting paid for referring a customer, so you want your potential customers to feel at home and to feel as though they are being looked after. If someone comes back to you and asks you a question about sports betting for example, be sure to give them an answer and explain everything they need to know. Just like any type of marketing, potential customers are a lot more likely to buy your product or signup if they feel comfortable with what they are signing up for.

  1. Update your website content

If you have a website, you have to keep people coming back to your website by making sure your content is fresh and up-to-date. Be well informed as to when there are new promotions and special offers as this is a great time for you to get people signed up.

  1. Know your stuff!

As an affiliate marketer, it is paramount that you are well grounded in the art of sports betting. If people want to know more about betting, make sure YOU are the one they come to for answers. If you have a website or a social media page, you should be answering the questions customers and potential ones are asking on there. A great way to be in customer’s minds is to think about the things you wanted to know yourself when you first started out. Find the most suitable answer to those questions.

  1. Tell people about yourself

Come on, you’re a marketer first and foremost. If you don’t tell them, your potential customers won’t know anything about you. So why should they trust what you are saying? If you have a website, make a section telling people who you are and a little bit about yourself. You should do the same on your ‘bio’ if you have a social media page. In the end, people are more likely to engage with you if they know you to an extent.

  1. Show off a little

You need to convince people that what you’re selling works! These days, showing people what you yourself have made from sports betting can go a long way in convincing them to sign up. Let your Facebook friends or your Instagram followers know about the new car you just bought with your sports betting profits? That is more likely to tell an interesting story and attract people’s interest than just saying “sign up with me and make money”.

  1. Always follow up

If you emailed or spoke to potential customers and don’t hear back, follow up with them. Ask them if they got your email or if they’re available for a chat over drinks. Embrace this marketing thing, don’t let up!
